Radiation protection centre hosts the scientific visit of radiation protection specialists from Georgia

 

   On 2018 November 26 – 30 Radiation protection centre hosts the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) organized scientific visit of radiation protection specialists from Georgia Ms. Khatia Jikuridze and Mr.George Dzagnidze.

   

   In accordance with developed personal training program, Georgia’s radiation protection specialists will enhance their knowledge in preparedness and response to nuclear or radiological accident. They will be acquaint with Lithuanian system of civil protection, radiation protection infrastructure in Lithuania, functions of Radiation protection centre, State Emergency Situations Management Plan, National Plan for Protection of Public in Case of Nuclear or Radiological Emergency, stationary and portable equipment for radiological measurements available at Radiation protection centre. Technical visits to the Fire and Rescue Department and State Nuclear Power Safety Inspectorate are also foreseen.
